Nickelodeon Branded Coffee
Package Design Course (2020)
A playful exercise in packaging; make packaging for a new product that a brand would never realistically come out with
Understanding the brand is the first step in successfully designing branded packaging. My first step was researching Nickelodeon's history, products and services, values, and graphic identity.
Next, I did product research. I built an understanding of how coffee is packaged, what information is needed on it, general layouts for the coffee packaging, and the overall graphic design language used. One constraint for this project was to only focus on graphics - Every student had to design their packaging to be a rectangular box.
